After a falling out with the UFC and not re-signing to a contract with the organization he had been with since the first season of the Ultimate Fighter, Josh Koscheck signed with Bellator MMA last year.

Koscheck’s first appearance in his new found home was to be at Bellator 148,  January 29 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.  He was scheduled to face Matt Secor in the headlining bout of the evening.

Unfortunately due to an undisclosed injury Koscheck sustained the fight is now off.

Koscheck’s bitter rival from his UFC days, Paul Daley was also scheduled for the card.  It is believed that Koscheck and Daley were strategically placed on the same card in order to build toward an eventual rematch of their infamous UFC 113 battle.  Having the two face off in the Bellator cage was predictable and highly likely.

It is unknown if Koscheck will attend the event now, however Daley’s bout with Andy Uhrich is still scheduled for Bellator 148.
